7/31/09 – Yesterday I was a presenter at a seminar “Looking at the world from a different point of view and understanding nature’s ways” hosted by Green Earth Blue Waters & Chatham Building & Design at Jeff Nelson’s The Life Center (17 Balfour Lane in Chatham, Ma). Luiza Azancot, a consulting astrologer, discussed the effects of the moon on cycles of nature and her personal experiences with gardening. Liz McClennan, who has a strong background in biology expanded on Luiza’s discussion talking about nature’s mysterious way. I discussed worms and vermicomposting and gave a demonstration of how to set up a vermicomposting box. Lisa Gledhill show some videos on the evils of toxic cleaning products and the advantages of powerful enzymes in natural , non-toxic cleaning products sold by Wowgreen. Jeff provided a nice spread of snacks and fruit for attendees to enjoy. Seminars like this are a good way to get people thinking about what they can do to contribute to improving the health of our plant.
