The rig pictured above is a two-hook sliding snell rig made to fish large strip baits or whole bait fish. It is often referred to as a stinger rig because the extra hook at the end of the rig prevents short strikes. It is tied with 40 test leader and has two mustad baitholder hooks which assure a firm grip on the bait. It is an ideal rig for doormat fluke. Since it has a sliding hook it can be used with any size strip bait, fish belly fillet, whole bait fish or squid and killie combo. The rig has a 100 lb #3 black barrel swivel to attach to the line and a strong clip to easily fasten and remove the sinker. The leader length is about 22 - 24 ". The rig comes in a resealable ziplock to protect it from the sand and salt water.
